We are raising $4 million to create Divine Marga — a pioneering eco-community and meditation retreat center in Sugar Land, Houston. This sanctuary will blend sustainable living, mindfulness practices, and spiritual awakening in harmony with nature.

Project Vision

Divine Marga (“Divine Path”) will be a 10–15 acre eco-sanctuary featuring:

  • Meditation halls and retreat cottages nestled in nature

  • Permaculture gardens and sustainable farming

  • Eco-homes for a resident community

  • Workshops on mindfulness, yoga, permaculture, and conscious living

  • Open-to-all programs for individuals, families, and groups seeking healing, growth, and connection

It will serve as a living model of harmony between people, planet, and spirit — open to all backgrounds and traditions.

Project Timeline: 48 Months to Grand Opening

Phases

  • Phase 1: Months 1–6 — Legal Setup (Done) and Location Scouting (In Progress)

    • Non-profit incorporation, 501(c)(3) status, permits, land evaluations, and environmental assessments.

  • Phase 2: Months 7–12 — Property Purchase

    • Secure an ideal 10–15 acre site with existing structures or raw land suitable for eco-development.

  • Phase 3: Months 13–24 — Renovations and Eco-Friendly Upgrades

    • Initial building retrofits, solar installation, water conservation systems, and basic site preparation.

  • Phase 4: Months 25–36 — Sustainable Infrastructure Development

    • Permaculture gardens, rainwater harvesting, off-grid energy systems, community housing pods, trails, and natural water features.

  • Phase 5: Months 37–42 — Facility Completion and Program Development

    • Finish meditation halls, guest retreat rooms, kitchen/dining commons, and design a full program curriculum (retreats, workshops, resident training).

  • Phase 6: Months 43–46 — Team Building, Training, and Community Engagement

    • Hire and train core staff/facilitators, build an initial resident community, and run pilot programs.

  • Phase 7: Months 47–48 — Marketing, Soft Launch, and Grand Opening

    • Full marketing rollout, pre-registration for retreats, official opening ceremony, and transition to full operations.

  • Property Purchase (Phase 2): $1,500,000

  • Renovations & Initial Upgrades (Phase 3): $800,000

  • Sustainable Infrastructure (Phase 4): $700,000
